Imitation Cloisonné and Traditional Cloisonné

Cloisonné or hard enamel pins are the highest quality die struck pins available.
The Traditional Cloisonné is a hard fired enamel pin using powdered glass with a limited number of colors.
 
Imitation Cloisonné is very similar to traditional, but is now one of the preferred methods with a smoother surface finish and it is less expensive.
